Houston snapped a four-game losing streak with a 20-0 victory over Tennessee, though the Texans’ first shutout since 2004 was against rookie quarterback Rusty Smith, who was making his first NFL start. It will be a little more difficult for Houston’s 31st-ranked pass defense against Eagles QB Michael Vick and his deep-threat receivers: DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant. Houston has given up 25 TD passes and allowed opposing quarterbacks a 102.8 passer rating. The Texans will try to keep Vick and company off the field by pounding the ball with running back Arian Foster, the league’s leading rusher. Houston QB Matt Schaub has not thrown an interception in three games, and if Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel (knee) misses his second straight game, Schaub will be busy throwing the ball to Andre Johnson, the league’s reigning boxing champion.
